Process a Sale in Zeller POS

To start processing sales through Zeller POS, ensure you have created basic items first. On how to create items, view here.

Zeller POS is accessible through a dedicated tablet app. For more information on how to get started, view here.

To take card payments, pair a Zeller Terminal. Find how, view here. Please note you can still record cash sales without a terminal connected. 

Get started Navigate to the Main Zeller POS Screen.   

  1. Locate and tap the desired item to add to the Cart.

  2. Manage the sale:
    • To remove an Item:
      Swipe an item row from right to left and tap the Delete icon
    • To discard the entire sale:
      Tap the three-dot menu and tap Discard Sale.
    • To edit items:
      Tap the item you wish to manage and select View/Edit Item Details to adjust quantity or change variants or modifiers.
    • To edit discounts:
      Tap the item you wish to view and select Manage Item Discount to remove or apply separate discounts.
  3. When you're ready, tap:
    • Charge to take a card payment, or
    • Cash to record a cash payment.
  4. Advise the customer to tap their card on the contactless logo.

Items and their variants have an availability status that affects how they can be added to a sale. This feature helps manage inventory and prevents selling out-of-stock items. To manage item availability, view here.
