How to set up a Kitchen Display?

Set up a spare tablet as a kitchen screen so paid orders appear in your kitchen automatically.

Before you begin, ensure Zeller POS is installed on the tablet. Learn how to set up Zeller POS, view here.

Please Note: Select the same site as your payment tablets. A Kitchen Display only shows orders placed at its assigned site.

To get started, open Zeller POS on the tablet and log in:

1. On Assign to a Site, select the site this display belongs to, then tap Next.
2. On Select Mode, tap Kitchen Display, then tap Next.
3. Enter a Device name, then tap Next.
4. Enter a Display name. Use the name of the station, for example, Kitchen, Bar, Coffee or Pass.
5. Under What should this display show?, leave All items selected to show every order.
6. Tap Get Started.

Your Kitchen Display is now ready. Orders will appear automatically once they are paid on a Zeller POS tablet at the same site.

Change an existing tablet into a Kitchen Display.

If the tablet is already set up to take payments, reset it and then set it up again as a Kitchen Display.

1. Tap the settings icon in the bottom bar.
2. Tap Reset POS.
3. Tap Confirm.
4. Follow the setup steps above, choosing Kitchen Display on Select Mode.

Please note: If the tablet still has sales that have not reached Zeller yet, they are sent before the reset starts. Keep the tablet online and wait for this to finish.

If the tablet's last card payment has not been confirmed yet, the reset will not start. Reconnect the tablet to the internet and try again.

Change a Kitchen Display back into a Zeller POS tablet.

To use the tablet for taking payments again, change its mode from the Kitchen Display:

1. Tap Settings in the top right.
2. Tap the three dots next to your name at the bottom of settings.
3. Tap Change Mode, then tap Confirm.
4. On Select Mode, tap Zeller POS and follow the setup steps.
