How to set up a receipt or docket printer?
Connect a network printer to print POS receipts, customer dockets and kitchen dockets from Zeller POS.
Zeller POS connects to printers over your local network, so a few things need to line up first.
Compatible printers:

Printer Type: Zeller POS connects with Epson and Star receipt printers.

Connection type: Must be a network (LAN) printer connected via Wi‑Fi or Ethernet. USB-only and Bluetooth-only printers aren’t supported. Zeller POS discovers printers over the same network as the POS tablet.

Paper: Standard 80mm (3 1/8 inch) thermal receipt roll. Some models also take 58mm.

Models: Common supported models include the Epson TM series and the Star TSP, mC-Print and mPOP network printers.
Set the printer on the same network:
- The POS tablet and printer must be connected to the same network — Either connected via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. If they’re on different Wi‑Fi networks, the printer won’t appear.
- On a big or shared network (for example a venue with separate staff and guest Wi-Fi, or several access points or VLANs), the tablet and printer also need to be on the same network segment (subnet). Zeller POS only discovers printers on the same subnet, so if they're split across subnets or VLANs, the printer won't appear and can't be reached.
Connect a printer:
To get started:

Make sure the printer is powered on, has paper, and is on the same network as your tablet.

From the main Zeller POS screen, navigate to Settings > Printers.

Tap Connect Printer. The app shows Scanning your network and lists the printers it finds.

Select your printer from the list, then tap Test Print to confirm it's working.
Can't find your printer automatically? Tap Setup Manually, enter a Printer Name and the printer's MAC Address (for example, TCP:A6:B7:D7:A7:03:87), then tap Connect. (Manual setup still needs the printer on the same network as the tablet.)
Print automatically after a payment
On the printer's screen, under Automatic Print Settings, enable your preferred printing settings after each payment:
- POS receipt after a payment.
- Kitchen docket after a payment.
- Customer docket after a payment.
