Can I surcharge card payments in the UK?
In the UK, surcharging consumer debit and credit cards is restricted under UK law. This is different from Australia, where surcharging is permitted within the limits set by the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA). The Australian rules and caps do not apply in the UK.
