How do I enable a Discount PIN?

To apply discounts securely, you can enable a discount PIN to reduce accidental or unauthorised discounts. 

These settings are specific to each site and can be accessed through POS Settings on your Zeller Dashboard. 

To enable via the Zeller Dashboard:

1. Navigate to Sites. 
2. Select the Site you wish to manage.
3. Select the POS Lite Tab, along the top of the screen.
4. Toggle Require PIN to ON to restrict discount applications.
5. Choose between using the Site PIN or setting a unique Discount PIN.
6. To set a unique Discount PIN:
   1. Select Use Discount PIN 
   2. Enter a 4-digit PIN
7.  Click Save

To enable via the Zeller Terminal: 

1. Navigate to Settings. 
2. Tap Site Settings. 
3. Tap POS Lite (requires Manager or Admin login)
4. Toggle Require PIN to ON, restrict discount applications.
5. Choose between using the Site PIN or setting a unique Discount PIN.
6. To set a unique Discount PIN:
   1. Select Use Discount PIN 
   2. Enter a 4-digit PIN 
7. Confirm the PIN

PIN will now be required when applying discounted items.
