How do I create Items?
Create pre-configured items for quick and easy selection when using Zeller POS Lite or Zeller Invoices.
When creating items, Zeller allows you to apply Attributes and Modifiers per item which is helpful for a smoother process without having to create and select additional items.
Please note that Admins automatically have access to manage items. Manager Users will need to be granted specific permission.
To create your first item, login to your Zeller Dashboard, App or Terminal:
- Navigate to Items then Select All Items.
- Click + Item.
- Enter in the following item details:

Enter Item Name

Create a Description if needed.

Select a Category from the drop-down list.

Or Create Category

Note: An item can be assigned to more than one category.

Import Image.

Choose whether to display the Image by toggling the Display Label Button in the top right corner

Enter Price
-
Default VAT - Select whether VAT is applicable to this Item

Update SKU if necessary
-
GTIN if necessary (Global Trade Item Number) Unique 14-digit number

Update Item Availability
-
Apply Attribute Sets

Update Variant details as needed

Add Modifier Sets
-
Enable for Invoices
-
To enable an item ONLY for Invoices, do not assign the item to a site, only toggle Zeller Invoices availability to On

Assign or Unassign from Site

4. Click Save in the top right corner
Items are now ready for selection in Zeller POS Lite.
